[Mountain # 4] In-wang-san/인왕산 near Gyeongbuk Station Line 3

14 August is Pakistan Independence day, and what could be a better deal other than hiking this day!

Pakistan's national flag is green in color which coincides with color of nature! Moreover, it was holy month of 라마단 (Ramadan) so I was fasting that day. I was accompanies by two Myanmar friends.

We started our hike in afternoon. Weather was cloudy and rain was expected any time. We didn't bring any rain-coats and just had umbrellas in our bags.

It was beautiful weather for hike especially when you are fasting and can't have water or food :)
There are some buddha temples on the mountain where people can stop by and pray. This mountain is famous for its rocks and easy track. We can view a old japanese colony prison from top.

The real beauty of Seoul City is revealed from mountains~ You can find a peaceful environment away from hustle and bustle.

How to get there?

Dongnimmun subway station, line 3 (orange), exit 2.
Access to the site is a little bit more difficult than usual due to nearby road construction so here’s a little more detailed explanation on how to get there
