[Mountain # 5] Bukhansan 북한산 백운대 - Seoul

Mount Bukhan or 북한산 is highest mountain located in Norther part of Seoul. It's peak called 백운대 (Baekeundae) is 836m high. There are various climbing courses to reach different peaks. More details can be found in this link.

We choose the course as follows

Course 코스: 효자2통 입구 -> 숨은벽 -> 백운대 -> Go down
Total Distance : 10 KM 
Total Time Taken : 7 Hours

Starting point can be reached as follows :

Take Subway all the way to Gupabal Station Line 3. From there, Take bus 704 (Blue bus) and drop by at Hyu-ja du-tong stop. 



This course is bit rocky so make sure to wear proper hiking shoes. You might need to take support of rope while climbing it. This course provides breath-taking views and sceneries! You would love it!

Once you reach near the top. You will so lots of people trying to reach the PEAK and take photos. Be-careful while going up and hold the rope. As always safety first!
