Hwanggeum Mountain is located in
충청남도 서산시 (Chung-cheong-nam-do Seosan-si) ~
province and city name difficult! isn't it ? It is adjacent to Gyeonggi-do province. It takes 2 and half hour to reach there from Seoul (교대역). 황금 mean gold and 산 means mountain. So 황금산 means Golden Mountain!
It was expected to rain on June 25, however the trip wasn't cancelled! The main reason of it was 황금산 being not a difficult mountain to hike. It is just 156 meters high~~

As soon as we reached mountain base, it started to rain heavily!. All hiking members brought rain coats except me! I used umbrella :) The uphill path to the mountain was awesome! It was covered by trees on both sides, and on sunny day it would have helped in providing shade!

Random Advice # Always keep a rain coat with you while hiking in June/July (overcast conditions)
The hike to the mountain is very easy and took about less than an hour. After taking some pictures at the peak we headed down towards the seaside. The Korean people have planned Barbeque along sea-side.

Meanwhile all people were enjoying Barbeque (being a Muslim I can not eat non-halal meat), I get a chance to see some rocks on the other side!
On the way back, we explored many new trails! Some of them ended to the sea so we had to find other ways! That made hike more interesting! Finally we reach down and headed back to Seoul!
In conclusion, it was good hiking trip to country side of Korea. it would have been better without rain. Nevertheless we enjoyed Natures . As we all are from this nature, and we work, live for nature and we have to return back to nature :)
